The Jumbled Woods. One of my goals is to take more "under the canopy" photographs over the next couple years. It is difficult work, hard to fine a good composition and just hard to get around with equipment. But it's very rewarding when it works. April 4th, 2010.

A small stream from Mount McGinnis feeding into Mendenhall Lake. In late fall, as late as December, you can see just a few silver salmon (coho) heading up here to spawn. June 13th, 2009.
The rock on the right caught my attention in this shot, with a nice looming presence. This is the same stream leading into Mendenhall Lake. Juneau, Alaska, July 13th 2009.
